Taking to her Instagram account, actress Deepika Padukone shared news with a cryptic post addressing the concept of success. The post comes in the wake of her recent pregnancy announcement with her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, where she delves into redefining the notion of success in her latest Instagram update.
The quote she shared reads, "Look around where you are; see what you can do to change the definition of success. So women coming after you won’t feel like they have to choose between success and burnout." The couple recently made headlines attending Ambani's pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, where they were seen actively participating for three consecutive days, including an adorable performance together.
Deepika has previously shared her perspective on success, expressing, "I really don’t know what success means but I think, for me, to be truly successful is to be at peace with myself and to be happy with every day. So for me, it’s not the materialistic things, it’s not the numbers, because there is always more."
Regarding her professional endeavors, Deepika was last seen opposite Hrithik Roshan in the film "Fighter" and is set to appear in Nag Ashwin’s "Kalki 2989 AD," alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Hassan. Additionally, she will feature in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film "Singham Again."
Deepika and Ranveer revealed their pregnancy news in February, sharing a poster with 'September 2024' marked on it. The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, have openly discussed their desire to start a family. Deepika expressed their sentiments, stating, “Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family,” in an interview with Vogue.
Notably, Deepika Padukone, daughter of badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and raised in Bangalore. Initially pursuing a career in badminton and playing in national level championships during her teenage years, she transitioned into modeling before receiving film offers. Her acting journey began with the Kannada film "Aishwarya" in 2006, followed by her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in "Om Shanti Om" (2007), which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Despite initial challenges, she received acclaim for her role in "Love Aaj Kal" (2009), marking a turning point in her career.
